The Old Days

Way back, Peter was my brother in law.  No matter what was going on the wilder world, the micro existence of our lives (we're back in the 1980's here of course), I remember and treasure the weekends at the Bull and Butcher, where Peter served behind the bar on Sunday lunchtimes just for fun and the pleasure of being there.  I value and treasure Peter, Judi, and my family at that time.  My love to Judi, Andrew and Judith, Sylvia, Elizabeth, and all who were there in my life then and who are still precious now.   Mike, (Dad) of course gone before and waiting for Peter.  Weekends with all of them.

Remember the trip to Yorkshire - we got stuck in a storm and took refuge in an old church - Peter took off his socks, put the church fire on and toasted his soles - we stayed in a an old B&B in the middle of nowhere - they put us in a family room with two bunk beds.  We walked to the local pub, ate a hearty dinner and staggered back.

The owners' cat had kittens.  Judi wouldn't shut them out - we barely slept that night with the kittens everywhere...for Judi.

Trips to France - we had such fun.

God Bless you Peter.  See you soon, some day. Xxxx
